A Different Life

Imagine a different life.

A different reality is happening. People in a place far from this are seeing magnificence. They don't cars or concrete. They don't know air conditioning. They don't know clocks or commuter trains. They don't know you or me.

What they know is wide, wild space, and broad, beautiful skies. What they know is the music of the breeze and the language of the grass and leaves. They can hear still water move. They can hear the sun shine with the gold and yellow of unimaginable light, bright in the dark of the oncoming evening. Color and life is more than 3-dimensional there, and feelings don't tear at the mind and heart. They live in the whole body.

A different reality is happening.

Imagine a different life.

One that was meant to be.

I don't like travelling but I've never read a lovelier travel brochure. And now I long to travel there...

When I imagine this reality, my breathing slows down and comes from a deeper place. My mind isn't racing quite as fast either. What a great way to start a Monday morning. :)

Hi Dawn,
Yeah, me too. I feel slower and deeper and more in tune with sho I am. It was a lovely thought to know that such really does exist.

yes, Liz, what a different life that will be. i could sit under all those wide open spaces and sing my poetry. :)

Maybe there are still such places around, your Alaska? i once saw a tv programme about a village in north Japan where the houses were built like exactly 400 years ago. we don't call that progess, but heck, those folks live happier and longer than us. and the place is really beautiful in winter.

i have been missing for a while, the office work is crazy, but i am sure glad i came back for a look. :)

Hi Dsnake,
I have been missing for a while too. I am glad to meet you here. Maybe this is our different reality. I'll let you sing your poetry here whenever you want to. :)

Thank you, David,
Some important things are happening. You would want me doing what I'm doing. I'll be writing today. :)

This is the first post I have noticed you have not proof read. The comment is not about the proof reading it is about the journey to the place you write about.

To be that lost for a dedicated writer is a testament to the escape. As you know I am not a professional writer, I do know escape in writing though.

Liz, I pray that you do know this place, where your escape and reality meet. It is so hard to live a double life in any way. I do not see you as a person who does not know what you write about in your heart and in your spirit.

Faith for some is religon and it is flat. The words written from inspiration are two dimensional. Faith for others jumps off the pages of writing into their lives, and takes flight. Three dimensions are only the beginning.

I imagined a different life and made it reality. I pray you find the same.

No worries, Lance,
I just didn't proofread. More like my reality is taking time from me. :)

Thank you so much for your comment I relished reading it. :)
