I wish that line would work on my boss. I did try it, but he appeared unconvinced.
Then we get into the "need to's" and the "should be's" and well - it comes down to the "why's" which compel us to find the "how to's" and try to squeeze them in between the "have to's".

Hi Ned,
Interesting you should bring those up. I've been thinking about writing about the want-tos and have-tos for about a week now. Maybe I will.
Your boss is just a curmudgeon. I really wanted to use that word for some reason. :)
Usually the word curmudgeon is reserved for describing me. ;)
I sense you are very intuitive, grasshopper.
Hey I would not use that word for you. You are Ned, the soothsayer.
BTW, just because your boss wasn't convinced doesn't mean it wasn't true.
Me too Liz, and thank you for speaking it. XXX, Lori
Happy to Lori. . .
Sometimes you just gotta do what you just gotta do and doesn't need explaining.
Happy to.
That was a LiZen moment.
I am.
In this moment.
Here.
Thank you Mark.
In the moment is a good place to be.
