25 Words: Values

25 wds.

A moment,
a memory,
the return of a friend
reminds me that
I may grow and bend,
yet what I valued then,
I value now.

The return of a friend is a great thing. When it happens it is a gift.

The return of a friend is definitely a theme I can relate to, having recently seen the return of a friend not heard from in over a decade.

Hi Patrick,
I'm glad to see you. Friends do move in and out of our lives. I meant what I said about what you wrote. You need to get that one published. It's one worth fighting for.

I wish I could say as much as you do in so few words.

So beautiful and simple.

Good morning, Jennifer!
It's great to see you in the norning! It takes some practice, but I bet if you keep writing you'll be saying things in 25 words or less very soon.

What I valued then, I value now

I don't think I really realized just how early my values were formed until I started blogging on Yesterday's Memories. What I spend paragraphs trying to say, you say in a handful of choice words.

I voted for you today on BLOG VILLAGE.

Hi Dirty Butter,
Thank you. It took a while choosing those words. Don't think for a second that it didn't. I like the challenge of seeing how small I can talk. I appreciate your confidence in what I write.

Liz, I love these twenty five word posts. Values endure. And so do the friends that live in our hearts, like you in mind. Peace.

That would be "mine" if I could spell. :-D

I had no idea that these 25 word posts were so popular. They take as long as the others and mean as much.

I like your mistake. It makes me feel like I'm on your mind. All you would have to do is add cookies and I'd be in heaven.:)
