My father taught me everything I know about love and being happy. He knew about people. He didn't see much reason that I had to learn the hard way the things that he had already learned. He's the reason I tell stories. He told stories to me.
Every story he told was true, even the ones that didn't happen.

Hi E,
I'm glad about your father. I think I like him. Good question. That's the next part of the story.
Your father sounds like a wonderful person ... how fortunate you had him in your life!
Thank you, Mama,
He was a special one. A lot like you in some ways.
Did you see, you are famous at KnowMoreMedia?

What a bizarre & unusual comment.
About a month ago my father was hit by a car while trying to cross a street - it was a bad injury, broken hip, operations, etc. especially serious for someone who is 86.
Today was the first day I was able to talk w/ him and learn that he is ok.

I am truly glad that your father is well. I won't pretend that I knew any other. I'm so sorry he was hurt before.
Every story he told was true, even the ones that didn't happen.
I love that line. It says so much in such a few words about the wisdom of his stories and how much you learned from him.
I apologize if I've already asked you, but with Blogger acting so crazy of late, I've lost track of which blogs I was able to get through to, and which ones I didn't.
I'd like to invite you to join our brand new, family friendly BLOG VILLAGE TopList. I think your blog would be a great addition.
You can find out more about it at the BLOG VILLAGE blog.
