I Was You

Once my soul screamed truth
My blood thundered challenge
My eyes climbed rainbows
I tasted heartbreak
Once
I was you
Once

Liz- I think we share a soul from another time. The truth silence, challenges are deep, patient rivers, rainbows happen when there are tears in your eyes. GHL very much.

David,
What beautiful things you think and say. You have made me change and grow just knowing you. I'm better because of you.

This leaves me wanting to know the current state of the speaker - dead, or walking dead? In the ground or in the supermarket?

Were you looking at life in general from the outside, or at childhood, or at hope? Did you see the addressee as unusual in this life?

I want to understand the narrator, so I guess I relate to the person/people being addressed.

Fascinating :-)

HI Cheryl,
It is interesting how the photo changes the words. The words were written last summer. I found the photo last night.

Hi Toadmaster.
Almost seems like Satuday's here!
Not so mysterious really, just some thoughts on the knee jerk reactions of youth . . . I think.
