Millions of Us

It's called skin hunger. We need to touch each other. If we don't experience 16 touches a day, we unconsciously start bumping into people. Our skin gets lonely.

It's probably a way of preserving the species.

He said, "You knew."
I said, "So did you. Knowing isn't always believing."

Our spirit has a hunger. We need reach out for a energy, space, and beauty. If we don't experience 16 delights a day, we unconsciously start collapsing. Our soul gets lonely.

It's probably away of encouraging evolution.

In infinity a wide open spirit runs and rushes like water.
We howl at the moon only this time we're laughing.

And the energy and wonder
we give to each other by receiving
makes us all so outshine the darkness
that we cannot tell the people from the stars.

And I know and believe
we are millions of us.

Hi A,
I haven't written on this blog for a while. I spend most of my time working with clients and writing on my business blog now.

There are still some of best things here though. :)

There is no doubt each person has a need to connect with others. Fear of rejection sometimes deters us. And when we take a risk of being open and honest we find out we have nothing to fear. Others relate to us better when we take a chance and reveal who we truly are. There is nothing more intimidating than a person who gives forth the impression they have it totally together. No one does. Others always relate to honesty--warts and all.

Hi Siggy,
I guess we do intimidate each othe ... but I also know when I find myself looking at other people to really see them, and don't think so much of them looking at me, I'm less intimidated.

So true, I read somewhere that to be truly happy you need to laugh at least 14 times a day, I wasn't really sure how they defined a laugh but I settle for random bursts of manic giggling every so often, whenever I think I haven't reached my quota of laughs for the day.
