It's funny, isn't it, how we have moments when our eyes see what's ahead, but our hearts hug the shore.
I love the last line. Curiosity is a wonderful thing but asks courage of us in return.

That last is what inspired this post. I'm glad you heard that. It's where my heart was. You always seem to find it.
Liz, you make me think in ways few do and often I find your postings, rather than tell me something, well, I feel they show me the path of discovery. In this post, I think of the famous quote that goes something like this: "a man should know what he is running from as much as what he is running to," or something to that effect. Time for another cookie as I ponder the ripples you place in my mind.
