The 'happy' dance I take it because none of those pieces of your life were dispersed with conscious regard to portion sizes, debits, credits, budget, or balance. They were just given when the opportunity was there to give. You didn't say that, but that's what I felt when I read what you had written. (By the way, I am always embarrassed that my comments are three times longer than your posts).

Sounds like a wonderfully full and blessed day. The ratio of time to relationships is what creates the memories of a lifetime.

That is life, isn't it? Our time that is divided up for all and yet some is owned, some is taken, some is given. Best of all are the minutes that are ours alone, when we can write and think and be. Without them, we would not be able to give away the rest of our days.

Ms. Roberta,
I love your comments. Every word of them. Please don't be embarassed. You are right. Much of what happened yesterday was interruptions and I was very tired at the end of the day. But I still felt like it had been a good one.

Hi Dawn,
It was a day well lived. The ratio as you name it seemed in tune with life.

hello Ned,
What is time, but one more thing that a writer must keep in balance, divide up and share, hoping to hold onto a piece of so that we can have it left when we write.

I love your wisdom.

Moments, however long, fleeting or lengthy, are the fabric of life. It is in noticing them ... in savoring them ... that we live. The moments that don't reach out and scream "I'm a MOMENT ... don't ignore me" but rather just whisper that they are what life is all about.

I love this post ... and as always it was very well said!

You, Ned, Ms. Roberta, and Dawn, write such great thoughts on my posts. i almost feel like I should turn these pages inside out. just when I feel maybe I won't write something. I come to read and you folks inspire me.

Wish i wasn't working so hard on my 3-D world stuff so that I could get around to read you all more. I feel such a loss.

that's a nice post, simple, but important to remember that time is precious.

Thank you. Rain.
Time goes by so quickly. I was glad to have it with those that I did yesterday.
