void of shelter in the stars
leaves a question on the moon
the spark and sparkle misted
misled by water in the air
by a life written on the wind
so much unknown
so much knowing
a great heart searching for a flame
mislaid reflections in and out
no compass, no North Star
dead reckoning . . .
A tiny star is born
a translucent thread
spun fine and true
illuminates the galaxy
from one angel’s joyous words.

I'm a big fan of all philosophers :)
Hey, glad to hear it.
We have a lot of philosophers here and a lot of crayons.
Stay and chat as long as you like.
This leaves me breathless it is so beautiful. I've printed it out and I'll cherish it forever.
Blessings and light I'm sending to you.
Good morning Easy,
Thank you.
You always come around to say such supportive things in such a lovely way. I value the words to add here.

Liz
This is the kind of work you just have to read over and over. It has to be chewed not gulped. There are flavors here that must be savored.
The kind of tastes you close your eyes for and rub against the roof of your mouth.
"The black night void of shelter" speaks of a blank page to me. "a great heart searching for a flame" speaks of you the writer in search of an idea. "A tiny star is born... from one angel's joyous words" speaks of the finished work, artistic creation complete.
I don't know if that was your intent but that is what it meant to me.
Hi Mark,
thank for taking so much time with my poem. Your read of the poem makes what you say real. I delighted that you found meaning in my words.
Thank you

Your poem aroused many fantastic images in my mind.
Ah, the universal power of words put in definite places under certain circumstances. The possibilities are infinite.
Well done . . . and thank you.

Liz- What I like about this is its openness. It can be the thought of one person looking for connection, or the whole race of humanity in the search for meaning.
After reading this, it doesn't feel quite so cold way out here by Pluto.
Oh Garnet,
Thank you for saying that. You very much heard what I was writing about as you always say i do you.
I appreciate your comment more than I can say.
smiles,
Liz
