Bartending for Bees

Moving forward
muck and mire
Not knowing how
when
what I might
step on or in
time behind me
in front

around me
everything moving
even me
where are we going
when will we stop
when we do
what happens
then

thank God
for flowers
as I pass by

  1. Morning Liz. I've missed my chair and warm tea. But I'm back. Thanks for keeping the place warm and inviting. :-)

  2. Good Sweet Morning Trée,
I'm so happy to see you back!
You chair has looked empty without you to fill it up.
The world doesn't seem quite so tilted SW anymore. :)

Thank you, I'm not certain that I'm always there for you with that bouquet. But I sure am glad that you feel that way.

  7. Liz,
What a wonderful title. Like the alliteration throughtout the poem. Lots of "m" sounds that capture the buzzing of bees, sonorous with the flowers. Nice.
