We're very susceptible to becoming our jobs, running ourselves into the ground in the process. I remember times when I felt pulled like a guitar string. No more if I can remember to stop and rest.

smiles,
Liz"ME" Liz Strausshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10711283307459944821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14775685.post-1126155966239112832005-09-08T00:06:00.000-05:002005-09-08T00:06:00.000-05:00Great written stuff! There are way too many things we have to care for and there is alwayas a little time for ourselves. I was so drained a few years ago that I had no friends, no hobbies..no nothing but responsibilities. But it's hard to strike a balance when it comes to your own sanity and your responsiblity... I am still searching for an answer.

Good job liz!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14775685.post-1126124675666171112005-09-07T15:24:00.000-05:002005-09-07T15:24:00.000-05:00Why thank you.I think we all have a bit of the ove...Why thank you.
I think we all have a bit of the overachiever in us that we have to keep an I out for.

smiles,
Liz"ME" Liz Strausshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10711283307459944821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14775685.post-1126124252440864962005-09-07T15:17:00.000-05:002005-09-07T15:17:00.000-05:00reminds me of my sister who works too hard.. spend...reminds me of my sister who works too hard.. spending too much time for over-times but with no extra compensation. it not only makes her lose her 'social' life, but she lack time for herself too.

great poem, Liz!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13441809988487585009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14775685.post-1126053300420510392005-09-06T19:35:00.000-05:002005-09-06T19:35:00.000-05:00Tanda,It's not a flaw to work too hard, too care t...Tanda,
It's not a flaw to work too hard, too care too much, we all do it.
