I'm not telling the plot details (!) but the setting is a huge bright spa-type bathroom with a great curving 'privacy wall' of those glass blocks... It's been a while, thanks for the memory-jogging post. You describe the peculiar nature of those blocks just perfectly.
~ Jendomestikahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05746362935728677626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14775685.post-59098779859236895532007-04-30T19:29:00.000-05:002007-04-30T19:29:00.000-05:00Hi Janus!I know what you mean. I've so mindless lately it was lost on me. Life is like block glass, isn't it? We can alsmot see, but not really. No wonder so many people do not like it. :)"ME" Liz Strausshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10711283307459944821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14775685.post-76583606803603977752007-04-30T07:39:00.000-05:002007-04-30T07:39:00.000-05:00What an interesting post. Your eyes want to see throught it, and like it was mentioned before, it is hard to clearly see.

I think life is like this. We want to see things clearly, but sometimes we just can't.

Have a nice day Liz!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14775685.post-72820539300487083732007-04-29T07:07:00.000-05:002007-04-29T07:07:00.000-05:00Hi Dawn!Block glass is from the 1940s, I think. Maybe that's why id didn't appeal to this child."ME" Liz Strausshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10711283307459944821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14775685.post-7654630139065390642007-04-29T07:04:00.000-05:002007-04-29T07:04:00.000-05:00I never saw block glass until I moved to the midwe...I never saw block glass until I moved to the midwest 4 years ago. Until just now, I didn't know that's what it's called. I have it in my home now, too. I find it curious. I'd love to know what you mean when you say it's a statement about a time. To me, it says something about light and visibility. You can't really see through them from either side. They're neither a window nor a wall. Hmmm. I just don't know. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
