standing there, watching there

no point in talking, no time
people are living, hoping,
believing, speaking, wanting
I think. Therefore I no longer feel.
What good is working at making a living
when making a living makes me a machine?
Why do I ask? They deserve everything.
Options are months away, and we must eat.
Sometimes when the stars are aligned perfectly
and the paper on my desk is piled just so,
my mind can process so efficiently,
there is only one way to describe it.

No you're not! But you do get kind of distracted sometimes (as i also do) by the forest and can't see each little tree which needs watering. hugs and kisses, the garnet heart.

The pressures of our economic system to often take us away from those that we love, for far to long. We have to make choices that are anti-family, in order to maintain a family. It's counter productive.
