How Did I Know?

How did I know . . .

when my childhood had ended?

when I'd found a lifelong friend?

that where I lived was my home?

that I am truly a writer?

that I am being true to myself?

I knew when other voices became only opinions.

  4. rakshit doshi,
Thank you, your words are music to my ears. i agree only as many words as you need and not one word more.

  6. How Did I know
    When I held that pen?
My hands will script many words
That I never expected to appear
As one time I just was a blank page
Now I’m accumulation of words- a poetry to be recited
Or scripted words a manuscript of a story
For those who will flip my pages
    Shall clearly understand my contents

On other hand my rambling thoughts:
We all do not know until we take the first step

I thought I was the only who did that. What a beautiful response to my positing. Thank you.

I wish I could put a sign for people to be sure to come inside to look.

  9. Hi rakshi doshi,
As I recall, I said something about you speaking in layers of meaning. This seems longer than a comment. How about an email?
    I'll come visit you.

  10. That is beautiful and very true. I am still trying stop listening to voices of those around me and hear only my own. It will happen in time though.

  11. Jennifer,
Thank you, keep listening. Other voices offer information. It's the decisions that you own.
